Mum of six, Kate Ball initially started Mini First Aid in 2014 from her kitchen table in Leeds, offering high quality baby & child first aid classes to parents and carers. Demand grew and Kate saw the potential for growth, so she started franchising the business in 2015. In 2021, BBC Dragon’s Den star Sara Davies, also saw the huge potential in Mini First Aid and she came on board as an investor and adviser. Mini First Aid is now a multi-award-winning organisation and has almost 70 franchises nationwide.
Zoe is the joint owner and trainer for Mini First Aid Lincolnshire North and has a passion for teaching and coaching. Being a mother to two young girls, Evie and Rosie, Zoe understands how difficult and frightening it is to see your loved ones in distress and feels knowing how to treat anything from minor injuries to an emergency situation calmly and safely is a valuable skill. Zoe is passionate about sharing her first aid skills at one of her classes in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere and wants everyone to leave with the knowledge, skills and confidence to deal with an emergency should the situation arise.
Francesca is a trainer for Mini First Aid and has a background in teaching and major emergencies specialising in flooding. She loves adventure and undertakes a wide range of outdoor pursuit activities including mountaineering, biking, riding, climbing and ice skating. First aid forms an essential aspect of these sports and she is an experienced first aider, supporting her peers in these activities. Fran is also mum to two young children and as a sporting, adventurous family, she know hows important these skills are and is passionate about sharing her knowledge.
James is the joint owner and trainer for Mini First Aid Lincolnshire North and has first hand experience in dealing with medical emergencies as a serving operational Watch Manager in the Fire and Rescue Service. James is father to two beautiful young girls aged 5 and 2, and understands the importance of having the basic first aid skills to deal with an emergency, as well as the confidence to use them should the situation arise. James enjoys teaching and training people having worked as a technical trainer for part of his career and is keen to share his knowledge and skills in an informal, informative and enjoyable class.
Naomi is a trainer for Mini First Aid Lincolnshire North with over 8 years experience in the NHS responding to 999 calls, she has worked for Yorkshire Ambulance Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service either as part of a double crew, single responder or clinical lead. She is excited to share her knowledge and experience with you on our first aid courses and equip you with the life saving skills you need to handle a first aid emergency efficiently and effectively. Naomi is a mummy to Henry & Nora and step mum to Will & Hannah, being a mum she knows just how important it is to learn these valuable skills to keep your children safe.
